This is one of the most attractive spring willow varieties. It is rapidly growing and grows up to about 1.5m in height. Shoots are raised upwards. It comes from Asia where it naturally grows on the banks of rivers. At first they are black and as they fade, they turn red, and during pollen they are golden. The leaves are lanceolate and green. To achieve abundant flowering, it is best to shorten it to a height of 30 cm every year.
