The cherry tree grows very strongly. It is resistant to frost and not very susceptible to diseases. It starts bearing fruit early, yielding abundantly annually. It produces large, broad-hearted, light yellow fruit, almost entirely covered with a dark red blush, with a light yellow, cartilage-like, sweet, slightly aromatic and very tasty flesh, suitable as dessert fruit, for preserves and for freezing. An additional advantage is that the fruiting does not break. It is one of the best commercial varieties, also useful in home orchards.
